Job Summary of Carrier:

Carrier at Kelly Services play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and secure delivery of documents, packages, and other items to clients and businesses. This position requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to handle items with care.

Responsibilities of Carrier:

• Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of goods to clients or businesses.
• Manage multiple delivery tasks involving loading and unloading operations, checking the accuracy and condition of all deliveries.
• Before and after delivery, assess orders to guarantee accuracy, precise charges, and customer approval. Maintain regular communication with the central dispatch unit to promptly receive any changes in delivery instructions or schedules.
• Gather required payments and signatures from clients and maintain organized transaction records.
• Carry out routine maintenance inspections on the delivery vehicle to confirm operational effectiveness and report any breakdowns or incidents to management.
• Navigate through a selection of routes within the city while ensuring strict adherence to all traffic laws and regulations in force.
• Maintain the confidentiality and ensure the security of the delivered goods.

Qualifications of Carrier:

• Earning a secondary education diploma or its corresponding equivalent.
• Demonstrated history as a delivery driver or courier. Having a valid commercial driver's license and a clear driving past.
• Competency in utilizing GPS devices and having knowledge of the local geography for streamlined navigation.
• Skilled at overseeing tight schedules with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective at interpersonal interactions and communication, with a primary focus on meeting customer needs.
• Proficiency in lifting and moving heavy items while standing for prolonged periods
